On behalf of the World Shin Karate Organization and Romanian Shin Karate Organization, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 1st World Open Cup SHIN KARATE which will be held May 8-10, 2020 in Pitesti, Romania.
The Romanian Shin Karate Organization is proud to host this 1st World Open Cup SHIN KARATE and the organizing committee will do its utmost to offer the best facilities in order to make this a most successful and memorable event.

1st World Open Cup SHIN KARATE

1. Goals and tasks
1.1 The 1st World Open Cup SHIN KARATE is aimed at: Further development and promotion of Shin Karate in
Divisions: Full Contact Kumite, Knockdown Kumite, Semi Contact Point Kumite and Kata around the world.
Selecting the best athletes in the of national teams for participation in international competitions.
1.2 Popularization the Shin Karate as Sport and attracting young people and adults to systematic physical culture and sports.

2. Date and place of the competition
The 1st World Open Cup SHIN KARATE will be held May 8-10, 2020.

Programm:
Friday 8.05.2020
10:00 – 20:00 – Weight check and Team Registration.
20:00 – 22:00 – Advice and Seminar for Judges and Coaches.
Saturday 9.05.2020
7:30 – 7:50 – Weight check and finally Team Registration.
8:00 – 9:00 – Introduction of Judges, Directors, Assistants,
Trainers. 9:00 – Tournament Beginning.
12:00 – 13:00 – Official Opening of 1st World Open Cup SHIN KARATE
14:15 – 14:45 – Lunch break.
15:30 – 18:00 – Special Categories.
18.00 – Award Ceremony (Every participant should have their own sport dress).
19:00 – End of Tournament.
20:30 – Sayonara party.
Sunday 10.05.2020
9:00 – 12:00 – Kyu test.
12:00 – 15:00 – 100-man Kumite for Sensei Jakub Cerny.

3. The management of the competition
The management of the organization and conducting of competitions is carried out by the World Shin Karate
Organization (hereafter WSKO).
Direct holding of competitions is assigned to the Romanian Shin Karate Organization and the panel of judges:

• General Secretary – Sensei Jakub Cerny, 4th Dan, Germany
• Main Judge Full Contact Kumite – Shihan Vitaliy Krasilivskiy, 6th Dan, Ukraine
• Main Referee Full Contact Kumite – Shihan Yurii Zazhyrenko, 5th Dan
• Main Judge Light Contact Kumite – Shihan Craig Wilson, 5th Dan, Australia
• Main Judge Knockdown Kumite – Sensei Oleh Kindzer, 4th Dan, Ukraine
• Main Judge Point Kumite – Shihan Serugei Tsoi, 5th Dan, Bessarabia
The Observer of World Cup the WSKO Chairman Shihan Andrew Rekunov, 7th Dan.

5. Uniform and equipment of participants
All athletes must be in clean karate gi with a belt that matches the qualification of the athlete.
Judges should be dressed according to the rules of the competition:
white shirt with short sleeves with WSKO Logo and a black tie
• black pants
• barefoot
• whistle is an obligatory!
Protective equipment for Divisions Full Contact Kumite, light Contact Kumite, Point Kumite:
• Helmet
• Boxing gloves: children – at least 8oz, the Juniors and Cadets – at least 10oz; Adults – at least 12oz
• Shin pads
• Groin
• Mouth
• Chest protector for all up to 12 years, girls and women is – OBLIGATORY
Protective equipment for Knockdown Kumite Divisions:
• Helmet
• Gloves
• Shin pads
• Groin
• Mouth
• Chest protector for all up to 12 years, girls and women is – OBLIGATORY
All the protections to be use at this official tournament will be homologated and approved by WSKO.
Under no circumstances will it be permitted to participate with other protection. Each competitor must wear his/her own protection. In the case that one competitor gets injured the use of bandage or any other material of protection must be revised by the official doctor of the competition or the Supreme Judge. Whatever the decision is, this will be final and obligatory for the competitors.
6. Financing terms
All costs of organizing and holding the 1st World Open Cup SHIN KARATE, provided at the expense of the Romanian Shin Karate Organization, World Shin Karate Organization and other involved Organization of budgetary revenues.
The cost of sending the participants and coaches (travel in both directions, payment for accommodation, meals, per idem, salary) – are organizations that seconded.
Starting Fee in each division €35.
Sayonara party(Banquet) – fee €10.
All contributions go to administrative costs to conduct the 1st World Open Cup SHIN KARATE.
The cost of hotel accommodation is €15-30/day (breakfast included).
After payment, the entry fee is not refundable!
7. Rewarding athletes
• Special Cups, medals and diplomas.
• Certificates of Participation for every participant.
• Cups for best Competitors.
• Cups for best Clubs.
• Other gifts
8. Applications
Applications for participation in the 1st World Open Cup SHIN KARATE should be sent on the official
application form to the Organizers on till 19 April 2020 to e-mail: CUP@SHINKARATE.ORG
Registration application are ready for download on: http://shinkarate.org/world-cup/ 
During the tournament there will be no possibility to add players.
Without preliminary electronic application, teams or individual athletes are not allowed to the 1st World Open Cup
SHIN KARATE!
